With more than 20 mines distributed throughout the Southeast of Brazil (São Paulo and Paraná), the company produces more than 100 types of ores with different technological and physical characteristics. The entire production of industrial ores is monitored by quality control systems, which translates into high levels of quality in the final products, combined with high technological investment in the mining, processing and physical-chemical analyzes carried out constantly in our own laboratory. It is not by chance that the Mineração São Judas has been certified in the ISO 9001 standard since 2002, currently in the ISO 9001 – 2015 version.

Talc Ores

Talc (magnesium silicate hydroxide) of composition MgSI4O10(OH)2 is one of the magnesium phytosilicates and has a hardness of 1 on the Mohs scale. The product has various applications in the paint, plastics, repainting, furniture pastes, cellulose and paper industries, synthetic resins, adhesives, agricultural defensives, cosmetics, soaps and detergents in powder, fertilizers and in the ceramic industries.

Calcium carbonate

Calcium carbonate results from the processing of calcite, constituting a mineral with CaCO3 chemical composition and perfect orthorhombic particle shape. The production and processing of calcite results in a pure mineral product by flotation and milling, which is used as a mineral additive, mainly in industries related to the manufacture of rubber, plastics, papers, resins, polymers, adhesives and sealing articles, soaps and powder detergents, fertilizers, agricultural pesticides, ceramics and animal nutrition.
The calcium carbonate produced by São Judas has 90° ISO whiteness, silica below 0.5% and low magnesium (MgO<2%) and is used as a filler in the manufacture of paper and as a precoat in the manufacture of boards.


Dolomite is an ore composed of calcium carbonate and magnesium Ca Mg (CO3)2. Very abundant in nature in the form of dolomitic rocks, the product is used in the manufacture of synthetic marble (sinks, sinks, washbasins and sculptures), rubbers, wall coverings, ceramics, glass, paints, grouts, refractory bricks, steelworks, foundries, polymers and coatings in general.


Diopside is a calcium and magnesium silicate with the chemical formulation CaMg2SiO3 This ore occurs in metamorphic sediments with large amounts of calcites and dolomites, with varied shades, such as: white, yellow, gray and pale green, having a lustrous vitreous shine with a relative density of 3.2 to 3.5 g/cm3 and a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the mohs scale, with prismatic and lamellar crystallographic forms.

Dolomites with Diopside

They consist of a mixture of calcium and magnesium carbonate with calcium and magnesium silicate, used in ceramic enamel to increase fluidity, helping to opacify and combat cracking of ceramic pieces. It also contributes, as a source of magnesium in matte enamel, to make the product more nuanced, in the engobe it is used in small quantities as a flux, partially replacing the ores of talc, diopside and even zirconite for its white burning color and high silica (SIO2 ), which exceeds 30%. This product is used for composition in the melting of ceramic frits.

Soil Correctors

Soil correctives are sedimentary carbonate rocks, which contain amounts above 45% of calcium oxides and magnesium oxides. When magnesium mineral is greater than 5%, it is represented by dolomite (Ca Mg (CO3), the soil corrective is called dolomitic limestone. When the predominant mineral is calcium oxide and magnesium oxide is less than 5%, it is called calcite limestone.
